System Repair Disc
You need a system repair disc so that you have access to system recovery options when problems occur. The repair disc contains system recovery tools that help you fix Windows. To create a system repair disc follow these steps:
- From the Control Panel, click Backup your computer under System and Security
- From the Backup and Restore windows click Create a system repair disc
Otherwise, type system repair disc in the Search text box of the Start menu and click the Create a System Repair Disc link - Insert a blank writable CD/DVD in the CD/DVD-ROM drive and click Create Disc from the Create a system repair disc dialog box
You may be prompted to insert a Windows installation disc, which means that the files needed to create the system repair disc cannot be found on your computer. Insert a Windows 7 installation disc.
The Creating a system repair disk dialog box appears…Click Close. In addition, you should be able to view the files and folders copied from the AutoPlay dialog box
Note, that a 64-bit system repair disc (created on a 64-bit system) is not compatible with 32-bit systems while the 32-bit disc should be ok with both systems.
If for some strange reason, the system repair disc dialog box does not open as quite a number of users have reported errors on branded machines, you can open a command prompt window with administrative privileges and type recdisc.exe from the command line. I recommend the 32-bit system repair disc – System Repair Disc iso

I do not have an installation disk for Win 7 Pro, as it came OEM with the tower. Have researched this problem for months, with no joy.
Any suggestions on how to make a repair disc?
